Product Details
The Accessory Kit should be replaced at least every 90 days. If you notice any of the following, please replace immediately:
  • Canister or tubing has residual urine build-up
  • Canister or tubing appear discolored
  • Canister becomes cracked
  • Tubing becomes torn
  • PureWick™ External Catheter no longer securely connects to collector tubing
Failure to clean or replace your accessories may affect the performance of the system.
Common Questions
How much urine can the collection canister hold?
The canister can hold approximately 2000cc (mL). However, the urine should be emptied when the volume reaches 1500cc (mL). If the urine is not emptied, the system will stop suctioning automatically at approximately 1800cc (mL), which could result in leakage at the catheter.
