How the PureWick™ Male External Catheter Works

How the PureWick™ Male External Catheter Works

The PureWick™ Male External Catheter is designed to wick away voided urine. It sits outside the body and is held in place with an adhesive designed with a full seal around the anatomy to minimize leakage.

When the user urinates, the PureWick™ Urine Collection system uses suction to pull urine through tubing to the connected collection canister.
